The world of racing games has been shaken up big-time, as Codemasters has just been purchased for $1.2 billion by the publishing powerhouse Electronic Arts. Both companies have a passion for racing games and have a desire to lead the pack in the aforementioned genre, and this acquisition gives them a big chance of achieving that goal. What’s next for Codies once the deal is completed in the first quarter of 2021? Racing-game fanatics like myself are anxious to find out.
