A recap of this month’s two-part Pokémon Presents

Throughout June, Pokémon fans have been bombarded with news about great things to come. Whether you’ve got a Switch or you mainly play mobile games, Pokémon Company’s clearly got you covered in 2020.

The four-year-old mobile-gaming juggernaut in Pokémon Go is evidently not going anywhere, as it will be updated later in 2020 to give you the ability of Mega-Evolving your Pokémon. This feature got started in Pokémon X & Y.

If you’re looking to play another free Pokémon game on your Switch or mobile device, look no further than Pokémon Cafe Mix. In this new game, your goal is to expand your newly-built cafe by completing puzzles and recruiting Pokémon. Golden Acorns serve as this game’s freemium currency, which you can acquire by shelling out IRL money if you’re in a time crunch.

Remember this Nintendo 64 photography game called Pokémon Snap? Have you been wishing for a sequel? Well, consider your wish granted! New Pokémon Snap is currently in development for the Switch.

Lastly, we learned about Pokémon Unite, which is Pokémon’s imitation of League of Legends. We don’t know when this game will be released, but we do know that it will be on both the Switch and mobile devices.

It’s gonna be a busy year for the Pokémon community. Will there be more to come this year alongside the rest of the Sword & Shield DLC? There’s only one way to find out.
