Today Microsoft announced a new tier of Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass will soon be hitting the Microsoft Store. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will combine a month of Xbox Live Gold with a month of Xbox Game Pass for $14.99. Currently the monthly price for both services are $9.99 a month (equaling $19.98 plus tax) , so this will be a bit of a saving to bundle the two.
Xbox Live Gold is needed for any type of multiplayer game and gives a bonus of four free games a month. Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that lets you download and play any one of over a hundred games, including brand new Microsoft exclusive games like Sea of Thieves and State of Decay.
No release date for the service was given but we will let you know as soon as more information is available.
