Today, at PAX East, Gearbox announced Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition. During Gearboxes panel, they confirmed the game would launch on April 3,2019.
The comfirmation comes only a week before the game is set to release. The Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition will be available on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One.
Both the base game and the original DLC will launch in this version of the game. There will also be additional improvements, such as a mini-map in the style of Borderlands 2.
The original launch of Borderlands was back on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC in 2009. Additionally, for gamers that have the original game on Steam, Borderlands: The Game of the Year Edition will be free to download.
