I guess Spyro might be flying and defeating baddies on Nintendo’s latest system soon. According to Nintendolife.com, Twitter user @Angryspace discovered that a German GameStop website posted a listing for Spyro Reignited Trilogy on Nintendo Switch–along with its release date.
It looks like the purple dragon isn’t keen on letting his bandicoot friend have all the spotlight on the Nintendo Switch, huh?

Apparently, Twitter user @AngrySpace discovered this listing some time ago on a German GameStop website. It shows that Spyro Reignited Trilogy’s coming out on August 16th, 2019 for the Nintendo Switch. However, according to Nintendolife.com, who provided a link to the website for their readers pleasure, the listing has been taken down and is no longer available.
This could mean one of two things. The first option is that it could’ve been a minor mistake made by one of the employees in charge of the website. The second option is that it was taken down because the retailer didn’t want to get into trouble with Nintendo for revealing the fact that Spyro’s coming to their hit handheld-home console platform yet.
Even so, Nintendolife.com notes that there’s been some instances where the game was hinted at or accidentally listed as coming to the Nintendo Switch. They linked their articles discussing how Nintendo‘s and Spyro Reignited Trilogy’s websites accidentally showcased that this game’s coming to the Nintendo Switch.

The stranger part about this whole debacle is that NintendoLife spoke with the game’s publisher, Activision, for reassurance, and NintendoLife “received a very standard, nothing-to-announce-style answer in response.”
Personally, I think that there’s many fingers pointing at this game coming out on the Nintendo Switch. I can see it being announced very-soon. However, like I always say, it’s best to takes these mistakes with caution than excitement because there’s a slight chance these are just simple mistakes.
