New Rumor Potentially Hints At An Nintendo Direct Happening On February 13th or the 21st!

Today, Resetera.com user King Zell, who’s track-record’s “100% accurate” according to YouTuber Aero, posted an interesting message that many believe coincides with an Nintendo Direct taking place soon.

As shown above, King Zell wrote “13 is your lucky number…. and am out.” This led to many speculating that he’s claiming an Nintendo Direct will happen on the 13th. However, Twitter user @SpawnWaveMedia argues that King Zell’s message is a bit loose as there’s a possibility that he’s referring to the “number of days” until this event happens instead of outright declaring that the Nintendo Direct’s the 13th.

Even still, it’s been awhile since we’ve last had a major Nintendo Direct take place. With January now in the history books, I believe it’s right for Nintendo to host a direct to let consumers know what Nintendo titles they could look forward to in 2019 and beyond.

The reason you should keep an eye on this rumor is because King Zell’s credibility is at an all time high. According to NintendoSoup.com, King Zell leaked that Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee would be revealed in a 90-minuted media event with news spreading afterword. NintendoSoup.com also states that he leaked “when the Animal Crossing Switch reveal [alongside the previous Nintendo] ‘Nindies Showcase 2019’ [event] (…) would happen.”

With that information in mind, I still believe fans should take this as a rumor and not a one-hundred percent confirmation that we’ll get an Nintendo Direct next week or thirteen days from now. Though King Zell’s track-record’s flawless, it’s best to keep expectations in check–just in case. We’ll be sure to update you all when Nintendo finally announces a new Nintendo Direct via their American Twitter account or elsewhere.
