Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution Is Coming To Nintendo Switch!

Last night, Gematsu.com reported that Konami revealed on a Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh website that Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution will be heading to the Nintendo Switch in the future. According to Siliconera.com, this title’s been available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC for ages.

Honestly, it feels like the Nintendo Switch port was a given based on this information. Although Konami didn’t upload a teaser trailer for the game’s Switch version yet, you can watch the initial reveal trailer from 2015 by clicking here (footage courtesy of the YuGiOhTCGEU YouTube channel).

Gematsu.com reports that the game will feature iconic characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh series and “will allow players to duel against” those characters and “other players nationwide” using the Yu-Gi-Oh card game’s latest rule-set titled, “New Master Rule.” For those, like myself, who are unfamiliar with this rule-set, click here to learn more about it.

No other information about the game’s release date and other details have been shared online. However, Gematsu.com states that we will receive more information “in the April 2019 issue of V-Jump, which is due out on February 21[st].” We’ll be sure to cover any new information when the April 2019 V-Jump issue details surface online.
