New Characters Seemingly Confirmed for Jump Force Based On A Sponsored Instagram Ad Leak?

Today, a sponsored Instagram ad surfaced online revealing two unconfirmed characters who will be in Bandai Namco’s Shonen Jump cross-over fighting game, Jump Force. These characters are Jotaro from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Dai from Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai.

This news comes from Twitter user, @YonkouProd, a well-known, credible source in the Anime & Manga community, who shared snapshots that point toward Jotaro and Dai’s inclusion in the game. I’ve constructed the image below for your viewing pleasure, keep in mind, this is courtesy of the original source, Twitter user Yonkou Productions.

Since the images above originate from an Instagram sponsored ad made by Bandai Namco’s Instagram account, we cannot access, link to, or search up the images in question. According to comicbook.com, “it means it won’t appear on the Bandai Namco [Instagram] page, only randomly on your [Instagram] feed.” Meaning, you’ll have to be a lucky son of a spirit gun–to see it.

Furthermore, Yonkou’s first image shows Bandai Namco stating, “join Yugi, Dai, [and] Naruto” as the second image showcases Jotaro in his iconic pose in front of Yu Yu Hakusho’s Yusuke Urameshi and behind Dragon Ball’s Goku. Since we cannot view the images, we can’t confirm if the posted material is legitimate or fan-made. Yet, judging by the artwork-alone, it’s possible these characters are in the game.

If these pictures are real, than Yonkou’s other remarks about JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s iconic villain, Dio Brando joining the roster, and the possibility that more My Hero Academia characters will be in Jump Force–might be true too. However, since Bandai Namco hasn’t addressed the images in question and shared anything regarding Jotaro and Dai’s inclusion in Jump Force, we must take all this information shared by @YonkouProd with a grain of salt.

Regardless, it’s interesting to see more franchises possibly make their way into this Shonen Jump cross-over game, especially Dragon Quest, since it can be viewed as a shocking announcement in its own right. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on any information shared online about these two characters when Bandai Namco finally speaks on the matter.

What do you think about this leak? Are you Team Real or Team Fake? If this is proven true, what are your thoughts about these two characters joining the roster alongside Yonkou’s various claims? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter, and follow us for more Jump Force news, and everything gaming too.
