Praise the sun! The Dark Souls Trilogy is set to be released on Xbox One and PS4 on October 19th in the US and Asia, but not in Europe according to Bandai Namco.
Now when I say released, I mean re-released. It is going to have all of the DLC content included with it as well, so prepare yourselves. You can watch the announcement trailer here. Physical copies of the set will come in a steelbook case (the best kind of case).
There will also be a “Trilogy Box”, a collector’s edition exclusive to PS4, with a price tag of $450 USD. It will include
- All 3 games and DLC
- 3 2-disc soundtracks, one for each game
- 2 stylized bookends
- 10 art prints
- 3 physical dictionaries of lore for the hardcore fans, or those who just love lore (me)

The original Dark Souls remaster was already released earlier this year, and I think it’s safe to say that it will be included in this set. The Switch port for Dark Souls is set to be released on October 19th as well, in all regions (yay for Europe). I can’t play any of the Dark Souls games online because I’m terrible at the game even without it being online, but hopefully the multiplayer won’t be as broken with this re-release as I’ve heard it can get with the originals.
