Windjammers is finally making its way to the Nintendo Switch this year–video game developer Dotemu’s Twitter account announced. According to Gematsu.com, this Nintendo Switch port of the game is similar to the PS4 and PS Vita versions–as it will have the same online-multiplayer features.
Dotemu uploaded a trailer to their YouTube channel. You can watch the trailer by clicking here. It feels like a 90’s trailer to say the least.
The Windjammers Nintendo Switch trailer’s description section shared some details about the game and what consumers can expect from it. Here’s what the trailer’s description box entailed,
“Jam anywhere, anytime with your friends!”
“Windjammers is the ultimate competitive multiplayer game with easy to learn control systems, making it perfect for the Switch. Jammin’ on the beach in your sweet Windjammers gear is now a reality as you can play Windjammers anywhere, anytime – and with local multiplayer you can live all of your wildest Windjammers fantasies with just the touch of a button.”
According to the trailer’s final segment, it seems Windjammers will only be available on the Nintendo Switch’s eShop–as a physical product did not appear in the trailer. Once we receive word from Dotemu on their social media accounts–I’ll update you with word about the game’s physical or specific release date–when given.
