Nintendo of America’s Twitter account just revealed when consumers can get their hands on the new Pearl and Marina amiibo for Splatoon 2. The amiibo dual pack is set to release at participating online and offline retailers on July 13th for the price of $24.99 USD.

The Nintendo of America Twitter account also shared a few words and screenshots about what consumers can expect when they use these amiibo in Splatoon 2. This is what the Twitter account said,
“With each amiibo you can unlock a unique Octo Expansion themed outfit, and a new visual theme/sound effects for the Squid Beatz minigame!”
Update: According to the Splatoon 2 Japanese Twitter account, you can also take pictures with either Marina or Pearl. According to GameXplain’s recent video, if you use the amiibo during Splatfests–you can take pictures with either Off the Hook member on stage–as shown in the photo above. The amiibo were initially revealed on February 11th, 2018. Nintendo teased the new amiibo in a brief trailer they uploaded to YouTube. To watch the official unveiling of the amiibo–where Nintendo revealed the price and promised for more information down the line, click here.

Based on the information available on Nintendo.com’s amiibo section for Pearl and Marina–you can pick these two up in what they call the “Splatoon series 2-pack set” at these local retailers: Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, and GameStop.
That’s all the information Nintendo had to share concerning the new amiibo. Based on the information we received today–Nintendo is making sure your purchase is worth something grand.
