Left 4 Dead 3 is (hopefully) not dead?

Intriguing news

Now, that the Turtle Rock Studios has finally declared Evolve as finished, it is time for us at Silver Soul Gaming to conjure up some theories about what their next game is going to be. As of now, company is in midst of recruiting for their next big project, which they described as belonging to the “globally known game franchise”. Of course, news like that tend to raise our hopes for the Left 4 Dead 3.

Coincidentally (or not?), Valve earlier hinted that they will return to their roots and delve into gaming creation once more. That alone was enough to flare fans’ hopes up for some good ol’ sequels: Half-Life 3, Portal 3 and, of course, Left 4 Dead 3.

How is that connected to the Turtle Rock Studios, you may ask? Well, quite simply, really – Turtle Rock Studio early on was called Valve South. Yes, the same Valve South that was a development team behind Left 4 Dead. So, taking all of that into account, it is quite unsurprising that many fans started theorizing about (possible) Left 4 Dead sequel.

Fresh vacancies

And big recruiting list that Turtle Rock Studios boasts so far is supporting those theories. They are looking for a lot of experienced developers, engineers and programmers, as well as artists, modelers and community manager. I don’t know about you, but for me it looks like they are beefing up their staff to create their new project. Even more, descriptions of several such postings are telling that they are hiring for a work “on an unannounced AAA title”. For example, such words are present in the descriptions of vacancies of Senior Producer and Senior Level Designer.

If you want to check out a full list of Turtle Rock Studios, whether to look through it yourself, or to try and get in on that train, you can find it here.

For now, all we can do is to wait for new pieces of information and to wildly theorize about possibilities. Stay tuned, and we’ll deliver you the most interesting gaming news!
