Get ready to fight to the fullest because Dragon Ball FighterZ will release on Nintendo Switch on September 28th–according to the Bandai Namco Twitter account.

This Nintendo Switch port will release in Japan on September 27th–according to Gematsu.com’s article.

The hit fighter was officially revealed during Nintendo’s E3 2018 direct in a game highlight reel. According to the a tweet posted by Bandai Namco, users will receive two pre-order bonuses if they decide to cash in early.

Here’s what you’ll receive:

  • The Super Famicom Japanese version of Super Butoden for Nintendo Switch
  • Early access to the characters (SSGSS) Goku and (SSGSS) Vegeta

Though Nintendo fans will finally have the ability to play this game on the go; there are a few drawbacks if consumers decide to buy the Nintendo Switch version. According to Gematsu.com, “the Switch version will not include any of the downloadable content characters, all the extra characters already released on other platforms will be available for purchase from day one.”

Meaning, you’ll have to purchase the downloadable characters and will not receive them right off the bat. I believe it’s a fare trade off with the other console owners. With that said, Dragon Ball FighterZ is also available on other hardware such as the PS4, Xbox One, and PC if this deal doesn’t interest you.
