Bandai Namco said you can, “Create your own Revenant and unravel the secrets that hide in the shadows.” Many stated the game-play is inspired by the Dark Souls series–including Gameinformer. They also stated Code Vein’s setting revolves around a post-apocalyptic world filled with blood-sucking vampires and your job is to slay them down.

Gameinformer Managing Editor, Matt Bertz, shared a link to an article where readers can get their company’s hands-on impressions with the title. You can view the article by clicking here.

Based off the trailer alone, I’m pumped to see what this game has to offer. I’ve always been a huge fans of slaying zombies for the most part but never tackled a game filled with vampires. It’s safe to say that I may be purchasing this title when it releases in September. I’m excited to see what happens in September for Bandai Namco–especially if their working on a certain Nintendo series.
