A Pokémon presentation occurred in Japan today. Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, Game Freak and Niantic Lab representatives hosted the event. The first game announced was Pokémon Quest and the title is coming to Switch systems and mobile devices.
Pokemon Quest is a Pokemon game where Pokemon from the Kanto region roam the Tumblecube Island. It is a free-to-start game where players have up to three “voxel” Pokemon and head out on some missions.
Players can use Power Stones that influence their characters’ abilities. As one explores the area, you can collect new Pokemon, find items, and battle wild Pokemon.
The Pokemon Company’s Twitter account shared some details about how the games work.
